If you find the handset is not working, then please follow the below steps to troubleshoot it.
- No Power - If the handset is not powering on, please change the batteries in it (uses standard AAA rechargeable batteries. DO NOT use non-rechargeable batteries as these will explode if you place the handset on its charging cradle!). Also ensure you power the phone on, by pressing the power button.
- Phone cannot receive/place calls - Check that it is subscribed to the base station. If it is, you should see the Handset name on the screen, along with a signal strength indicator in the top left of the screen. If these are missing, please re-subscribe the phone to the base station and try the call again.
- A Phone feature doesn't work - The firmware of the handset may need to be updated. Usually, this occurs automatically, but sometimes things go awry and it doesn't happen. If this is the case, please let us know and we will look into the issue further.
