Current Transformer (CT) Charges

If your electric meter is a current transformer type, then your local Distribution Network Operator (DNO) will add pass-through charges, based on the kVa value of your supply. It is typically rated in pence per day per kVa.

The charge is supplier agnostic, as the kVa charges are specific to the site where the supply is located.

As we liaise directly with suppliers, we are not made aware of the charges that the DNO will raise on these CT circuits. The charges are automatically added to any bills which are raised by the supplier.

If your supply is a CT supply, then we will make you aware of this fact along with the fact that there will be additional charges, along with any applicable supply charges,
